Teaching Experience

I have had the opportunity of working as a graduate teaching assistant at the North Dakota State University for the following courses:

Experimental Methods (Spring 2015)

Psychology Field Experience (Fall 2014 & Spring 2015)

Research Methods I (Fall 2014)

Introduction to Clinical Psychology (Fall 2013 & Spring 2014)

I was responsible for constructing exams, grading formative and summative assessments and helping students with the material.

I will be teaching the course Research Methods I in Fall 2015.

I have also worked with differently able students ranging from ages 6 to 18 years, both at Bishop's College (Sept 2009 - Oct 2009) and Camilla School (Aug 2009) in Sri Lanka. As a voluntary assistant teacher, my duties included assisting students with reading, writing, and extracurricular activities such as sports and concerts.

I was also a voluntary student tutor at the Derwent Infant School, York, United Kingdom (2008/2009) where I worked with students aged 6 and 7 years. My duties included assisting students with reading, writing and extracurricular activities.
